Our Rabbits
Providing You with the Rabbit You Need to Fit Your Purpose
As hybrid rabbits, each of our kits can meet different needs. See each section below to see how our rabbits thrive in each purpose. Our rabbits are not fit as show rabbits since they are hybrids.

As Meat Rabbits
Our rabbits are hybrids, meaning they are not purebred. Their father is a black New Zealand and their mother is a Champagne d'Argent. Both New Zealand and Champagne d'Argent rabbits are excellent meat breeds producing larger litters (7 kits on average), a good bone to meat ratio, and fast growth rates. They can be kept outside as long as they are out of the wind in the winter and have some temperature regulation in the summer so that they don't overheat.

As Breeders
We offer hybrid rabbits, a cross between a black New Zealand buck and a Champagne d'Argent doe. Champagne d'Argent does are known for being excellent mothers and our doe is no exception. She has cared excellently for her kits and has never lost one. New Zealand does tend to have good maternal instincts as well but when bred with a Champagne d'Argent, they should do wonderfully as mothers.
Though our kits still have mostly black coats at 8 weeks, their coats will change to a black and silver mix as adults.

As Pets
Our rabbits are hybrids, a cross between a black New Zealand buck and a Champagne d'Argent doe. Both breeds are known for their social natures, calm temperaments, and easy care. Because they are a larger breed (8-11 lbs on average), they are a better rabbit option for younger children as they are not so fragile. New Zealands are known for their trainability and Champagne d'Argents are known for their lovely coat. Though our kits still have mostly black coats at 8 weeks, their coats will change to a black and silver mix as adults.
They do require more space as a larger breed and will eat more food (pellets and hay).
Our rabbits are handled daily and are used to human interaction and handling.
